SNCF train station at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport operates RER B trains that link CDG with the city and Paris suburbs, and the CDGVAL line links the terminals through N1 and N2 automated trains.
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport's SNCF train station is located between Terminal 2C and 2D, and Terminal 2 E-2F. Terminal 2A, 2D, E and F are linked via moving walkways. If you arrive at Terminals 1 or 3 simply use the free N1 shuttle to get to the train station. If you arrive at T2G, you need to board the free N2 shuttle to get to the SNCF train station.
CDGVAL Trains between Terminals
Automated N1 trains run every 7 minutes from 4.00 am to 7.30 am, every 8 minutes from 7.30 am to 1.30 am and every 15 minutes from 1.30 am to 4.00 am.
N1 stops at Terminal 2A & C, exit 10, 2E, exit 6, the PW car park, 2F, exit 2 and at SNCF train station North, the Sheraton Hotel, the Left Luggage Office and at Terminal 2D, exit 6.
N2 shuttles stop at Terminal 2F, exit 2, 2E (from 9.30 pm to 11.00 pm only), and at 2G in front of the terminal. N2 runs every 5 minutes from 5.30 am to 11.00 pm. Total route time is 15 minutes.
RER B Trains to Paris Gare du Nord and Suburbs
It takes 35 minutes to get from the airport train station to Paris Châtelet les Halles, costing from 11.40 euros per person, one-way. Travelling with a RER B link train to Paris-Gare du Nord takes only 25 minutes. A train to Paris Denfert-Rochereau takes also only 35 minutes. Trains depart the airport train station every 10 to 20 minutes on weekdays, and single tickets to these destinations cost from 11.70 euros for an adult, 7.90 euros for a child.
From Paris Gare du Nord SNCF trains leave for Les Mans, Lille, and Rennes, to name but a few. Trains to Rennes take about 1 hour 25 minutes, running ca once an hour. Trains to Lille leave Gare du Nord ca once an hour too, taking about 60 minutes to get there. Trains to Les Mans run every 30 to 40 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord, taking 55 minutes to arrive.
